Our group instructors are nationally certified and dedicated to providing the highest quality classes.
The classes are small, allowing for personalized instructor assistance and guidance. In addition to personal training,
these classes are another vehicle to achieve your fitness goals.
Martial
Art Classes
Students will be introduced to Praying Mantis
Kung Fu, in so doing, achieve a higher level of physical fitness, coordination, and develop self defense skills.
Kung Fu means “skill
through perseverance, or hard work. Praying Mantis is a highly regarded Kung Fu style, unrivaled in beauty,
and effectiveness.
Initially,
classes will consist of basic stretching, 8 stances fundamental to the system, and stylized conditioning drills.
Students will go on to learn proper biomechanics, so that maximum power can be generated, with minimal movement, and
energy expenditure.
Later,
forms will be taught. A “form” is a series of movements performed in fluid succession.
They serve to outline the various self defense techniques of the system.
Principles of long and close range fighting, joint locks, throws, and ground
fighting are integrated in Praying Mantis.
BODYPUMP
BODYPUMP is the most successful
group fitness program in history and is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This
60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts
and curls to condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for fat burning. Great music is used along with your choice of
weights to inspire you to get the results you came for and fast!
ABS
This class works all parts
of the abdominal area and lower back.
Cardio
Kickboxing
You will
kick, punch and sweat your way to a higher fitness level! Cardio Kickboxing combines kicks and strikes
from a range of self-defense disciplines like karate, boxing and taekwondo into an hour long energetic routine.
The music and
choreography create a fierce, energetic experience which raises fitness levels throughout the whole body. This workout is
designed for all levels of participation!
Spin
Class
An intense stationary indoor
cycling program for developing cardiovascular capacity that will challenge you while allowing you to work at your own pace!
Spinning provides a fast improvement in general endurance and an increase in lower body strength. Cycling shoes are optional
